How to add nodal loads in Excel format to my Robot model?

Hi,

In my Robot model, i have to apply 8 Wind load cases to 550 nodes with 3 nodal forces @ each node/load case (Arround 13,200 nodal force).

I have these forces ready in an excel sheet format with the nodes numbering.

Any chance to import my excel sheet directly to the model?

Thanks,

Either by copying by clipboard (Excel rows cells have to be in the same order and content as records in Loads table on Edit tab) or writing small macro using Robot API

Thanks.

Hello!

Could you please show step by step how you manage to do it?

I am trying the same but with pressure loads on cladding, I have a lot of load records and wind load cases in excel with the correct format, but every time I paste them into the Table Edition tab of Loads table, I get something wrong.

It adds the correct number of load records, but the load case is disregarded and assigned to the last one used. Also the element list is completely blank and all the values are moved by one column.

If I then selected the wrong cells and paste again it works, but I have to do this for each load case (and I have +30...)

Any clue about what is happening?

I am using ROBOT v 15 and Excel v 2013.

Thanks!

V.

Could you please explain how to do this specifically? Do you copy the excel rows and then copy them somewhere? Where do you copy them? I can't find anything relevant in the edit tab...
