Friction coefficient in foundation design

Hello

I’m designing a foundation under a steel column and have a question regarding sliding.

Calculations according to EN 1997-1 and EN 1992-1-1

In the soil parameters I can assign friction coefficient (ex 0,6). But in the calculation of sliding the given value isn’t used directly. Instead Robot uses:

Tan(δd)=0,3

What’s the relation between these coefficients? I can’t find anything in the help files.

See attached pdf.

I had the smooth precast box ticked, which it shouldn’t be in this case. Now it adds up just right.

Thank you!
