Errors during Revit - Robot export and import

Hello!

I could try import and export with Revit and Robot 2016 two years ago.

It persists on R2018.1 and, worse, it happens no only in R2018.1 but also in R2016.

Revit2Robot. Unknown run-time error.png

I read about that issue in Autodesk Knowledge Network

REVIT TO ROBOT LINK - run time error exporting model from Revit to Robot

and also in several thread in this forum. The proposed solution is copying DRevit2Robot.dll file from

c:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Extensions 2018\Modules\RSA\DRevit2Robot\DRevit2Robot.dll

to

c:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2018\System\Exe\

However, it did not work.

I could by-pass the issue importing from Robot instead of exporting from Revit. It is a partial by-pass, because importing for Robot we cannot use Adittional options that we can use if clclicking Ctrl Key + Robot Structural Analysis Link command. If I do that, this error pops up.

Revit2Robot. Activating the Robot Structural Analysis project failed.png

Some times appeared another aditional message

Revit2Robot. AREX RobotOM.RobotProjectClass.png

Ok, foregoing issues happen when I try to send model from Revit to Robot. Finally I did it importing from Robot, so I could change something in Robot and then I tried to export to Revit, the worst is yet to come.

If I export from Robot to Revit, this message pops up, nothing happens and Robot crashes.

"Waiting for Revit Structure"

Robot2Revit. Waiting for Revit Structure.png

If I import from Revit, it complais there is not a project available in Robot.

"A structure project must be available in Robot"

Robot2Revit. A structure project must be available in Robot.png

So I cannot take changes nor rebars from Robot to Revit.

It happens with all files I have tried.  I attach the last I did. It its made from

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2018\Templates\US Metric\Structural Analysis-DefaultMetric.rte

It has only two columns and a beam.

I try to do the process between Revit and Robot in version 2025 and now in version 2026, and the problem is similar. After including the DLL file, and then disapears the "unknown.....error", other errors begin to appear, like: No possible direct integration from Robot to Revit or Revit can not read correctly the SMXX exported from Robot. All using the given example file of Autodesk, if I try to use old Revit files the "unknown...error" continue........ I installed the version 2026 of both juts today, is strange that the errors have not been solved.
