does not let to save the model

Hi,

 

I am getting this error messahe when saving the model. It does not save anything.

Any ideas , quick help would be appreciated? no need to say i do not want to close it and  loose all the changes

This is what I get now when trying to run calcs.

 

I of course cannot follow this Robot's advice as it does not let me to save the model. Conflicting instructionsno save really.jpg...

nu nx...

 

do not bother, model lost

only mesh left, no elements

brilliant robot backup system  automatic save every 10min did not save anything... last backup is from yesterday!

Did you have the file saved and opened from a network drive rather than having it saved locally on your hard drive?

Hi Artur,

 

Thanks for your reply. Yes, of course the file is stored on the network as anything else these days, this is a standard policy in many companies.. is that a problem?

No, till the moment there is a temporary lost in the connection (network failure) with the location you opened the file from. If this happens the effect is as you encountered. My advice would be copy the file locally before you open it in Robot and copy it back after you finish your Robot session.

This should be in the user manual I suppose (sorry if it is and I have missed that)
