connection raft foundation walls

Hi!!!

I'm wondering how to realize the connection between a raft foundation and walls. I thought i have to delete the wall support because the support is made by the raft foundation: but in this way i got an instability error type 2....

Have you defined any horizontal restrains or KZ under the raft foundation only?

Hi arthur!

I defined the kz for the raft foundation, but i didn't define any horizontal restrain for the foundation. After i wrote this post I found in another post that if i choose as a calculation model "shell", i have to put a x and y restrain on the foundation...so i solve the problem :-), thanks!

but another question.... which is the best calculation model for a raft foundation on a winkler soil? Shell, rigid diaphragm, flexible diaphragm, deck slab?

How much the values you set for Kx, Ky or just small values just to get rid of the unsuitability warnings?

If you don't have horizontal loads, it can be anything greater than zero
