Hi,

Im new to ROBOT and im supposed to add a joint where the moment is zero. As the joint rotates, if we have a FULLY RIGID joint panel, then everything within the panel will move or in this case rotate together. How do I add a joint here?

Check here to see how to exactly find the moment zero coordinates

Then divide the bar on this new node and set a moment release on the bar that will be supported.

You can also use "compatible nodes" to accomplish the same result with the advantage of having rotations available on both bars.
