Hi. I have these two views. The view on the left is a part view while the one on the right is the entire floor plan(which show the rebars as I would want).

The Part view on the left shows the rebars in hidden lines by default and not solid and in magenta as the one on the right. Both views are under the same view template which have me wondering why there is a difference in the view properties. What am I missing?

What do you mean with part view? You created a plan view and then acivated crop view?

-Check if the view template is active (e.g not temporalily view properties active)

-Check if view template has settings for linetype and magenta color)

-Check what your view template is controlling.

-Create a new "part" view and set it up as desired (sometimes a view can get damaged).

By 'part' I meant  a view based on a scope box.

Everything looks okay. I guess I will have to duplicate the view.

If you could show us your properties settings and assign view template settings (like the image below) then we can understand what happened.

Hi @markkibui101

For the view on the left, check that the rebar is unobscured. This is a setting that you need to do for each rebar instance in a given view. It is not saved with the view template.

I am not too sure which view's properties that you are showing on the picture you sent, since originally you are showing 2 different views but only 1 properties window.

But if I am looking at your picture correctly, either you are using 2 different view templates or the 2 views have different view ranges. If I am not mistaken, the same rebars appear hidden on the left and solid on the right on the original picture (see picture below). Please check on the view templates and the view ranges of the 2 views previously shown.
