Problem in exporting IFC file from Strakon to Revit

I am working with both Strakon (DICAD) and Revit (Autodesk).
I can export the .ifc file from Strakon to Revit but cannot edit each component like column, beam and wall (which are basically created in Strakon and each component is saved as .smd(strakon modell) file).
Is there any settings or link files so that we can edit the model from Strakon in Revit or can we load .smd component files as library data.
Please help me with your answer
Thanks a lot

IFC is meant as an output/exchange file format. This means it is not intended to do editing. The source application should be used for editing.

You might have have (very) limited success if you open the IFC instead of linking it into your project.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

What i understood from your answer
For me IFC (strakon) works for the visualisation only. as both belong to different software and algorithm.so that we can not map the files (can not create link between Strakon (Dicad) and Revit Autodesk).the major problem we are facing is the mapping of Precast elements into the Revit. We do not have any other extension files, which have similar grounds for mapping.
