vertical bracing - plan - cut plane

does anyone know what is going on here: I have several locations where vertical bracing on plans behaves differently despite all setting being the same. Some vertical braces are cut at the cut plane and you can only see the brace below the cut plane, but most of vertical bracing ignores the view range settings/cut plane and on plan is shown in its entire length (see attached images - blue brace "cut" on plan, red brace "uncut").

thanks for any ideasAnnotation 2020-03-04 162953.pngAnnotation 2020-03-04 162954.png

Edit the family of the brace and in the "Family Category and Parameters" uncheck "Show family pre-cut in plan views" and reload the family into your project.

thank you @jbrazier , that did the trick for all. Still the strange thing is that those two braces were excatly the same, same family with the same settings yet one was cut the other wasnt. Some other braces without the family being changed actually were cut. The only difference was that some geometry was imported from Robot and the memeber types/sizes changed for native Revite families.
