Hi,

I'm currently using Revit 2019 to make shop drawings with the precast extension. However I would like to use my own custom made schedules instead of the default schedules. Is this possible and if yes, how?

Regards,

Kenneth

Hi @kenneth.hestholm,

It is possible to have customized schedules in the shop drawing. To achieve this you need to perform the following steps:

Step 1: Go to Schedule Template.rte - this is found C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Structural Precast for Revit 2019\Families\en

  • Add and customize any schedule that you need to be added in the shop drawing;
  • Add a name for the schedule (is important to use this name in the next step);

Step 2: Go to Schedule.rfa and add new type of schedule.

  • Add new type and make sure to use the actual name of the schedule defined at step 1 for the Template Schedule field;

Step 3: RE-load the schedule.rfa in your titleblock or create a new one by following these steps:

Kind regards,

Hi, your answer is really useful. It works perfectly.

I just would like to know what is behind that. How the Schedule Template is related to the schedule family types. Could you please explain it to me?

Thank you so much
