Creating beam annotations

Hello everyone,

I am at the moments trying to understand the beam annotations. I have seen that I can upload familys, and that the only one that I have is the one that put the elevation in which the beam is located. Is there anyone that knows hoe to create a family that allows me to identify the section of each bema taht I have?

You need to edit your tag element and create a new one with the label option Type Name, and upload your new family to your project, with this you can tag your element and you can know which is this particular beam in your plans and elevations views.

you need to create shared parameters on ur beam family : Width&Height -> label dimensions of beam family on these parameters

-> create str framing tag and add these parameters as labels
