Unable to open the project file - Revit 2023

Hi Everyone,

I am using Revit 2023 version, I am working on ACC cloud model (project file). Till yesterday evening it was working properly, from today morning I am getting this error.

I have been tried out multiple ways still i failed to fix this issue. As I was able to open other project files and on this same folder other file able to open flawlessly, there is a problem with this project file only.

What actions i took on behalf of this error :

  • Cleared all temp files, User profile --> Colloboration cache, PacCache files & Empty recycle bin.
  • Updated graphics card driver to latest
  • Updated revit 2023 to latest version (please refer the snip) About
  • While open the file through Autodesk Docs --->Open & Audit I tried
  • While open the file Specify --> Worksets (selected all worksets) --> Close
  • My other colleagues account credentials used in my PC (Desktop connector, Revit app

These many ways I have been tried out, Still we failed to fix this issue. Please refer the snips

I have this kind of similar issue..I have unloaded/uninstalled the add-ins. I consulted the Autodesk team, they didn't find issues in the journal file I sent them. The funny here is I have upgraded the build-up version of my Revit 2022 (1.4) while my colleague can open the model where her Revit version like 2022.0.2. Is this issue because our PC are different brands/models? Please enlighten me as our IT and BIM Manager can't find any solutions to this. Or the best way to resign?

I have seen this previously with different version and effectively the model has been saved in a newer version/release so you both need to be on the SAME Revit Version with the exact SAME updates installed!

There's nothing to do with the build-up version if you work in a workshared model. My apologies, but our IT department has already resolved my issue.

Thanks for the update.  Can you shed some light into what the solution was so others can benefit from the solution?

I have worked on a collaborative project where this was the exact cause of an issue and it follows Autodesk best practices for Worksharing

Our IT can't disclose. What I understand from him is that there's a command I need to register from my desktop PC. And he did it.
