Unable to Create a Profile Beam

Hello guys,
I've recently started working on Revit to learn and started making the model of a project I've done during my internship.
It had a profile beam. Which I am unable to create in Revit. It would mean a lot if you could help.
The Beam is a Profile beam for a staircase and it turns at an angle. Kindly see the attached images.

So, what is the issue? WHat do you have so far and where are you stuck?

It seems to me to be a simple extrusion can do the trick.

I tries the extrusion but the steps are not perpendicular to the side of the profile beam, if you could see in the plan.
