Turn off perpendicular rebars to the view

Hello everyone, I need to ask if there's a way to turn off all rebar elements that are perpendicular to a view. We need to see only the elements that are parallels  (horizontal or vertical) to the current plane layout. Thanks in advance!

Hi @jroa3ZD27

I think you could do that only by manually hiding those bars in that view OR by using filters, but again based on a manually assigned parameter value.

The parameter by which the bars are filtered would have to apply for that view only.

@ovidiu_paunescu i was thinking the exact same thing.... Manually.

@jroa3ZD27  You could try putting them on different worksets. you'd have to come up with a naming convention that worked for  you. you could the parallel one on one workset and the perpendicular ones on another workset. then turn the ones off you don't want in your view.

With https://www.sofistik.de/documentation/2020/en/reinforcement_detailing/cmdref/tag/detail_layer.html you can add layer parameter and then apply a view filter.

you can assign a partition and hide it using filters in visibility/Graphic options

Thanks everyone for your help; I accepted the sofistik solution because is the 'less manual' option to achieve that we want on a large project, and we are working on that.

Thanks again
