Trusses acting incorrectly

Hey!

I'm trying to get trusses to work with my roof and it's...interesting. I attached the truss to the roof and the slope doesn't match, it isn't cutting anything flush, and I otherwise can't adjust anything I'd hope would fix it(such as the slope or anything). It doesn't necessarily have to look like the photograph or existing drawing, but that's what it looks like in reality for context.

Is this the moment where I just start faking it with extrusions to get even remotely close?

Thanks,

Peter

Extend the truss end from the blue line to the red line.

That did line it up which is great. Now I just need it to be plumb-cut, notch the top chord around the structure of the wall, and everything else haha.

But at least it's this far, and that's a big step so thanks!

You can use Cope tool.  I show a 1/2" gap for clarity, change cope distance to 0 then you will have no gap.
