Problem: My Structural Framing family does not align with the origin/centroid of the section when modeled.
Description: I used the out-of-the-box light-gauge steel family (Light Gauge-Joists.rfa) to create a built-up shape to represent a typical door header shape (the shape looks like this --> [ ] ). To do this, I simply mirrored the geometry in the OOTB family, added a parameter for separation distance, and made sure the constraints were all correct. The family functions correctly within the Family Editor when I flex the parameters, but when I model the family in a project, it does not align properly. Upon investigation, it appears the bounding box is not correctly capturing the geometry because the justification points do not align with the section (see image below). The stick symbol aligns correctly in plan view, but the geometry is shifted over.
