Strange question about STRUCTURAL BRACE SYMBOL~

In my revit 2016; I find a strange question about the STRUCTURAL BRACE SYMBOL;

Let's see the snap~

The most strange thing for the BRACE SYMBOL is that why the brace above symbol & brace below symbol could be shown in the Left but not right? especially for the red brace symbol in the left;

For the settings, I have already ajusted the view range setting, now they are the same in each view even though they have different basic levels.

thanks for all

Hi Yilin,

Here are some suggestions:

  • Make sure you’re in the current build (update) of Revit 2016. If you have access, I recommend updating to “Release 2” (R2) and then Update 7 for R2   (update 8 was for C4R).  See How to tie the Build number with the Revit update.
  • Create a View Template from the view on the left and then apply that template to the other view.
  • As a test, upgrade a copy of this model to a newer release of Revit (for example, Revit 2019.1) to see if this behavior still occurs.
  • Or test in a new, simplified model using a default out of the box structural template. If it works correctly in the new model, then it could be an issue with the one existing model.

I hope that helps.
