Steel tab in family

Is it not possible to use the steel tab when making families? I have am making an adaptive family and the steel tab is not available to me in it. I would like to place some bolts in it.

Impossible, steel tab only for project time.

Steel fabrication features are not available in families...

... but I'm more interested about your needs in terms of families. What's the end goal of adding them in families?
