Revit files created in version 2023 containing linked AXM (Formit) files will not open in Revit 2024

I have recently upgraded my Revit version from 2023 to 2024.

I have a couple of RVT files created in 2023 containing an AXM (Formit) linked file.

When I double-click the file in File Explorer, Revit 2024 starts and the upgrade process begins, but an error is thrown "Revit cannot import the file.".

When I click Cancel and cancel the load process, Revit crashes.

I am attaching Journal and dump files created after the crash.
Files associated with the crash start with "journal.0001".

The interesting thing is that the RVT file can be opened in Revit 2024 if I follow the following steps:

  1. Open Revit 2024 application.
  2. Use the File/Open UI interface to locate and open the same file.
  3. The file is opened and converted from 2023 to 2024 without any issues.

I am attaching Journal files associated with the second opening starting with "journal.0002".
Both sets of files are in the attached Journals.zip file.

I really need this sorted out because I need the ability to automate the opening and conversion of RVT files created in version 2023.

Thanks in advance.
