Importing Sketchup File

Hi,

I currently have a model that has dynamic components that the company's lead designer has created. I am trying to import into Revit so I can run structural analysis on the model in robot but the model seems to be importing as a family not as a model with all its dynamic features. Please let me know if there any tips or tricks or maybe I am doing something wrong. Thanks.

Revit will transfer structural analytical elements to Robot.

So you have to get the sketchup elements to that state first.

For example if sketchup ended up in the project .rvt not the family .rfa 

will they be structural analytical elements?

What version of Revit?
