Edit Rebar Constraints Mode

In the last months I needed to work a lot with the Edit Constraint Mode.

It seems that if I enter the Edit Constraint Mode in one View (let's say in a 3D View), Start edit mode in 3D view then activate 2nd section view.jpg
then switch to another View (let's say a section) where I am able to see better my element. Revit exists the Edit Constraints mode .

Result - after switching view.jpg

The result is that it jump out of the Edit Mode and luckily it still keeps the rebar object to be edited still selected, so I only need to hit the Edit Constraints button once again. --> it is a reflex which I got while editing constraints.

This is something what a Revit user does not expect while working in Revit and what in Edit Sketch mode for a rebar is supported.

Strange as i recall some additional functionality feature on one of the recent Revit releases to allow quick switching between views during the process in the same Tool/Function?

Would definitely raise it an a wish item in the Idea Community
