Revit 2019 Crashing when I close a second project?

I'm having an issue where, if I have two projects open and I close one, Revit closes the program down completely and I lose any unsaved work from the other project? I know I should save before I close the project down but why is it doing this at all?

Anyone else having this same issue?

I had the same problem. It was one of the add-ins. Try removing all add-ins and see if it solves the issue. If so, add them back one by one untill you find the one the crashes Revit.

There were quite a lot of add-ins and I removed them all and added them back one at a time as you suggested.

The second to last one I re-added was the one causing the issue.

It is an AutoDesk add-in (Autodesk.SiteDesignerExtension)

Thanks for you assistance now back to AutoDesk to sort the issue!

Don't hold your breath waiting for Autodesk to fix Site Designer. Has been an issue for a couple of years with seemingly no attempts to address it. Could understand if it were a third party add-in causing problems but (although acquired) this is their own code.
