How do I tag precast  wall panels so the tag sits on the view side of the panel in a floor plan with revit?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Go to annotate - select tag all - and select wall tag check box - and select the tagging family that you required. if you prefer leader select that check box also.

In order to control the position of the tag in plan edit the wall tag and move the tag up or down from the horizontal reference plane depending upon your requirement and upload that family again to the project.

In which instance parameter catagory  you provide the assembly mark?! Could you please share screen shot of this assembly number in the instance parameter menu?!

Hi @Anonymous ,

You has to create a "assembly tag" family to tag this wall. I hope you already know how to create a tag family in Revit. your parameter ProdNo is a shared parameter which is located in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Structural Precast for Revit 2019\Families\en\Shared Parameters.txt and you have to create a new parameter and select the parameter PrdoNo to tag this wall. I am attaching that family for you here. you can customize that according to your requirement. Please not that version of the family is Revit 2019.2
