Revit 2018 Show material color for Generic model / Adaptive generic model

I have some Adaptive Generic model family to load into a project. Now I would like to show the color for family instances base on their family material, like with a rebar instance when I set visual style to "Consistent Color" and their View Visibility to "View as Obscure" and "View as solid".
I can set the material and color for the family but I can not find a way to set the generic model instance to "View as obscure". Is there a way to do it?

Hey @longt61,

I am sorry, but I don't understand your issue. "View as obscure" is a setting for views, not for specific families, no matter of which category nor material. May be you could upload some screenshots to show your objective.

I am sorry for the wrong word. I meant "View unobscured" to show the color set in rebar material setting. Please the images below. Is it possible to do it with generic model? I can change the color in material setting, but I can not make it appear in project view.
