Linked file VG overrides - transfer settings

Hi guys,

I think I know the answer to this and asked that ages ago but trying again .... Has anyone some workaround to transfer VG settings/view template for a linked file from one file to other? Maybe via dynamo?

It really annoys me how time consuming it is having to manually change settings for templates each time I link some new file or work on a new project. I know you can have a linked placeholder file in a template but that holds settings for one file and the settings obviously do change as well from a project to project.

Perhaps I'm missing something in your question but you should be able to use Transfer Project Settings to copy View Templates from one file to another.  This works through links or if you have both files open in the same active session of Revit.

I know, but that will not transfer settings for VG overrides for a linked model.
