Hello guys,

Please help me, I wonder why the steel connection won't appear to the properties panel. This is the image. https://postimg.org/image/60afs1ag5/

However, when I tried to go to connection settings, it appears but won't load or show in the properties panel. Here's another image of this. https://postimg.org/image/orcd2kfet/

Please help me how to load this in the properties in order to be use.

Thanks for the help guys.

this occurs sometimes....two possible reasons:

- wrong connection type being used in the design situation.  (i.e. using a column/beam connection for a column/footing connection)

- steel database file corrupted

try selecting the two members first then choosing the connection type to make

try reinstalling revit steel connections thru Autodesk Desktop App.  Remove via Control Panel first.

What are the specs on your computer?

OS

Graphics Card

Processor

HD

Have you tried a Clean Uninstall?...not just a regular uninstall.

Have you tried deleting your %temp% and Windows/Temp folder content prior to installation?

Hello Dzan,

Here's the specs of my computer. https://postimg.org/image/hlzcvbv1h/

I have done once deleting %temp% folders but I don't if it is enough. In my experience yesterday, I have once seen the steel connections appear in the properties panel in a new project of revit. But when I tried to try it again to my project then it crashes. Today, when I try to load steel connections in a new project, it now crashes.

I will try to use a registry cleaning software like uniblue if this will solve the problem. Is this okay?

Can you just embed the image in the post or attach it?  The site hosting your image keeps flashing advertising that is not suitable for most working environment, unless, of course you work in a certain industry.

Hello Toan,

Sorry, I don't intend that but if that's the case. I'll try to find another way to upload image.

Thank you very much for all the reply and answers to my questions!

I have solved the issue, all I did is download a registry cleaner software, uninstall all my revit software and install them again after I clean my drive C. 🙂
