"Enable to join model in place geometries"

We have currently created Revit geometries by extrusions and sweep for a structure. Now I am trying to join both of the created elements as a single geometry. When I try joining them by "Join Geometry" but the elements do not join together also I am getting a warning - "Can't cut joined geometry"

Is there a issue or is there a different method to join such elements? Can anyone please help me on this? I have attached the Revit file with the elements inside.
