Quickly convert models into IFC usable in Revit.

Hello, I'd like to know if it's possible to quickly convert models into IFC files that can be used in Revit. I receive customer files with sheet metal and profiles. But I have to remodel everything. To edit the shop drawings and the .NC files.
Currently, I link the IFC in Revit and export it to DWG to redo the drawings in Advance Steel.
But if I can convert more easily in Revit, that would be great.

Are these Custom Families?

I see a Simpson reference and most of these are already available in different format (IFC) in their BIM & CAD Library

You do have the Option to open an IFC in Revit which gives more scope for editing

Revit can import lots of more Manufacturing format based models so it may be worth requesting a different format and trying to work from that?

Hello, thank you for your reply.
Our clients work with CadWork software. And IFC export is the best way to preserve our clients' materials and references.
Regarding the family used, I'm not sure if it's a custom family because in the viewer I see the names Beam, Plates, etc.
The problem (I think) is the IFCPlate in the frame and not the structure.

Appears this is possible in Cadworx but you need the Plant version - may be worth checking?

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't solve the problem of non-sheet metal parts in Revit. And the software isn't the right one, it's CADWork. (Télécharger cadwork - Formule d'essai et versions téléchargeables)
