Help. How to stop beam from extending out of another beam at a join

Hello. Can someone help me on how to stop beam from extenting out of another beam. I find it hard to perfectly join these two beams at a corner. Even though when drawing, it perfectly align at a joint but I still get this extension. Kindly help. see attached photos.

Really they should auto-join if connection to the same position - check the plane (3D) or snapping points which may be driving this try implementing grids to have a shared point!

 

There are couple of options;

Select the Beam > right Click on the end node > disallow join and Stretch (or Allow Join is not already active) and make sure they are connected or share the same position
