Proper way to model curved beam reinforcement?

currently im sketching the main reinforcement and arraying the stirrups...is there any faster or better way to do this?

most will use the Radial array feature to array the reinforcing

 

some will try the Vary Rebar Set feature....works only some of the time

 

some will use Dynamo

Perhaps create the stirrup rebar as an adaptive family and then use the Divided Path function to array it.

 

or

 

Create the stirrup rebar as a baluster family and then use this in a railing.  The placement/quantity of the "rebar" can then be adjusted using the Type Properties Window under "baluster placement"
