Rafter Framing Problem with Collars

Hello all, 

I am attempting to frame a dormer roof that extends out over a porch as shown below in photo 001 and I need to place collars in the roof system. The rafter framing extension doesn't show the option to install any collars along the length of the roof as shown in photo 002, in contrast to another rafter system I installed on the other side of this project with no issues. This problem is despite the fact that all of the rafters line up in plan as shown in photo 003. 

Has anyone come across this issue before? If so, what did you do to solve it?
