Printing hidden lines without using Raster printing

Hi.... I am aware that there is an issue of printing hidden lines from Revit as in if you want them to appear on the print you have to select raster printing rather than vector.  Unfortunately, it seems that the print quality of raster is significantly less than that of vector printing.

I have searched online for a solution or workaround to this problem but many posts are several years old so I wondered if any progress had been made on this issue recently ?

Thanks

Thank you for your post.  It looks like you are inquiring about printing hidden line with vector properties in the revit software.  In this case I have tested the 2017 product with the settings to vector for hidden line and am not seeing an issue with our sample model when pushing to PDF.  Have you tested the 2017 product and if so, how does your PDF result compare?  If this is something you can easily reproduce, please reply back with a sample file to test and compare overall results.  We are happy to test further and assist where needed.  Please keep us posted.  Thank you and we look forward to your reply.

Hi... Thanks for the response.  The problem I am having is that hidden lines that are visible in my model do not appear on my print (either pdf or on paper).

I attach a test file and also the resulting pdf.  If you notice specifically, the lines of structural framing behind the chimney which are missing from the pdf.

Thanks
