Northing on grids in elevations?

Hi all,

I am looking to add a northing to a vertical grid line in an elevation view. I can get it to snap to model geometry but not the grid lines.

Any tricks so it will select the grid lines??

What is a "northing" exactly?

@ToanDN"northing" as in "Northing and Easting"  generally used in Civil for distance at a point from the projects origin. (so fancy X & Y values). @prucad12  Are you trying to snap to the grid outside the crop boundary? try snapping to it inside then moving it down.

I know northing and easting. I should be more clear to ask what element you used to present the information (tag, spot coordinates....)
