G'Day,

In my project I need to model a staircase with ramp as shown in image below (sample downloaded from webpage). Please give me some Idea/Advise to proceed this. Thanks in advance.

Ok....so this probably isn't the only way to do this...and it is not painless that's for sure...but this is all done with floors and is not complete, mostly just a process concept.Stair_ramp.png

Thanks @Revit_Whisperer,

We have modeled Floor instead of Stair and Ramp Is it acceptable in BIM model? Will it cause any problems while taking schedules? This model may not come under Stair/Ramp category right? Please clarify as i'm new to BIM. Thanks again.

As this seems to be a single instance I would consider to create this with a model in-place. Just use the modelling tools to create the stairs/ramp. You can then assign the stairs category. You also could create the ramp first with the ramp tool and then use the model in-place for the stair part.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

i would suggest as enllnt said, model in place will be best choice , because in bim industry the categorization is very important
