Merge split beams

Hi all,

I import steel structure from Staad into Revit. The revit imports single continuous beam as "split beams" in many places (wherever there is a joist connected to main member).

In revit, is there a way to "merge" beams that are split. Assume 1) the two beams are exact same family type, 2) they are collinear with each other and 3) they share common end points.

There is no option to merge.
