Linked Revit Models Disappear when Zooming/ scrolling

I have a linked in model and I have set its settings so that it appears halftone in my elevational views. I have set-up and applied this template to all my views. The issue I have is when I go to or zoom of pan the linked model disappears. This is how it should appear. But it simple disappears if zoom or pan.

Hi andydyer

This is a setting in Revit to allow better performance during pan/zoom and orbit. You can switch it off by opening Revit Options from the applications menu. Switch off the highlighted setting below: (You will have to reopen the model for the setting to apply)

Hi again.

Try disabling the other option?

Remember to close and reopen the project after changing the setting.

Does the link reappear after you stopped zooming/panning?

I didn't have that option. I did turn off 'hardware accleration' and that worked.

Thanks

Hi

This option is only available from Revit 2018.

Glad that disabling Hardware acceleration worked.

I have similar effects, but that occurs when I have set Model Display to hidden line and my view range is set in or above the floor above. When I zoom, all the archatecture is shown, but when I stop zooming walls etc disappears.

Soluction is to set view range to below the floor above, or te set Model Display to wireframe.
