Rebar Shape Detail command

Hi everyone,

Rebar Shape Detail command is a very useful function that enables you to see exact dimensions and shape of any drawn rebar in 2D view. Unfortunately it is still not implemented in Revit.

....to see more about this function take a look at YouTube video below:

@Va3ilem:This problem has been solved long ago by third-party extensions like Graitec, Sofistik, etc. Autodesk just seems to be hard-setted NOT to implement this (very) useful feature.

Ok, solved by third-party extensions like Graitec, Sofistik, etc.

So to make a drawing i need Revit + third-party extensions.     2 programs to do one detailing of rebar?!

And when i need to export 3d PDF i need Revit + another third-party extensions

And when i need ..X.. -> Revit + something else third-party extensions.

Actually i can not use just Revit to make a drawing complete to plot. Maybe after 2020 version.

Very sad situation indeed. Looks like Autodesk lacks both own will and smarts to do it.

P.S. If it makes any difference to you: neither Autocad can do (smart) rebar detailing.

P.P.S. I just hope Autodesk won't buy Graitec and Sofistik and close them out (as it did with many other rebar detailing software). It would be their doom for eternity.
