Linked Model Multiple Instances - Instance Parameter

A little background.  I have a site that has approx 25 buildings on.  These buildings consist of 3 buildings types.

I have created 4 different revit models, one for each building type and one for a site model.  I have then linked the models into the site model and copied them accordingly to where I want them and what level I want them (The site is sloped)

I have come to create a schedule for the foundations however there are several instance parameters I could do with using for information I want.  I have tried adding shared parameters to the linked model (building type) and host model (site) however in the schedule this remains 'read only'  The schedule is a Structural Foundation schedule.

I am now thinking my only solution is to have several types of schedule and 'stack' them on the sheet for what I want.

E.g I want the following.

Plot Number - Instance parameter required (or us RVT links schedule)
Top of Foundation Level - This I can get

Floor Level - This I can get
Bearing Material - Instance Parameter, Not worked this one out yet how to get this

Any idea's much appreciated.

Yes, but the parameter I would have as a instance text parameter so I could put in what I wanted without having to model the topo.

At the moment I think I have a work around.

As there I have several depths of foundations on one building type I have used design options.  So I have added parameters to the design options and then in the host model just changed the VG to show the correct design options per plot.

This is working for now, but sure there is a better more simplified way of doing this.
