Line weights of Dimension Lines

When I'm using the annotation tools on revit to add dimensions to my project, is there a way to adjust the lineweight? Specifically the weight of the line under the number or text but not the leader lines? dimensionline.JPG

Yes you can set the lineweight, but they will apply to both the dimension line as the witness line.

Is there any way to make just the dimension line a heavier weight? I still want the leader lines to be almost halftoned.

No, basicallly there are two line weight settings available for dimension lines.

One is for the tick marks the other for the lines. So no separate settings for dimension lines, witness lines or leaders. They are controlled by a single setting. Also in the graphics overrides they are not available to be separated

I just found out that my dimension lineweights do not match project lineweights.

I can set my dimension lineweight to 1.  Then I can draw a detail line that is set to 1 next to it.  The Detail line is about 30% thicker than the dimension line.

What's that about?

Model Line Weights versus Annotation Line Weight.  Make sure they are the same.
