Line Break in Text

I have a title block with a tag for the sheet name. I know that the text will automatically wrap, but I'd like to force a line break at a point prior to when it would automatically wrap. In Excel you can press to accomplish this. Is there any equivalent in Revit Structure?

Hi Stephen

did you solve this problem? if not, here's the solution: you have to pres CRTL+ENTER, but not in the drawing area, but in the properties field... Hope it works

Use shift+Enter to do the line break.

Dang it !:

Revit 2018:

Name cannot contain any of the following characters:
\ : { } [ ] | ; < > ? ` ~
or any of the non-printable characters.

Ah- I see in the //**VIEW TITLE ONLY**//in the properties... then it allows ctrl+enter for a force break (Line feed in ASCII(10?)??).

Hello, do you know if this is still true?

When I try ctrl+enter or shift+enter I get an error saying:

"Name cannot contain any of the following characters:

\ : { } [ ] | ; < > ? ` ~

or any of the non-printable characters."

I'm using Revit 2021.

Looks like Autodesk "fixed" this workaround in typical Autodesk fashion.
