How to display walls over und under the slab

Hi everyone,

I want to simplify a process of creating formwork plan. Currently we are looking on the slab from the bottom. We need to display both the walls under the slab and over the slab. We make that so, that we create two separate plans. One cutting under the slab, the other cutting over and that on the sheet we place one over the other. The placing order is crucial. We have the place there the view, that cuts over the slab as the first one. We are doing it like so, because we need to display the walls over the slab with full gray patter, which is otherwiese covering the hatch of cutted concrete.

I tried to set the view range so, that I the cutted walls under the slab and also the wall over. That in visibility I overwrite the hatch for the walls in view and in cut. I ended up with gray full pattern covering everything under it. What acctualy helped was cut out the wall (Ctrl+X) and the immediately insert them back (Ctrl+V). But that is not possible to do for a large model.Screenshot 2021-03-11 190048.png

red line: after Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V

blue line: before

Is it possible to tell the Revit, which hatch should have the priority of the display?

Thanks for suggestion @elzohry2007 , but it is not working. I tried to play with order of the filter, but it has no effect. I also played with the hatch (projection/surface) override for the foreground and for the background, with no result. Simply the hatch for the walls in projection is displayed OVER the hatch for the walls in cut.

To the pictures:

for the red hatch (walls under the slab) I have one filter, for the gray hatch (walls over the slab) I have also one filter. I want the red one to be OVER the gray one. And it has no effect if I change the order of the filter in the visibility manager. You can see the result of the both filters on. The gray one is COVERING the red one. I also took a pictur of the result that I want, which is created es @EdwinG suggest, but that is the proces I want to avoid. The places where it is acctulay correct displayed, is because the walls with the red hatch (under the slab) were crated after the walls above the slab (in Revit must be "time order" somehow implemented). I will try to send the 4th picture (the result that I want) in next message, because I can not load more the 3 attachements.

Thak you for your time anyway.

Hi,

You must make the one "walls under slab" 1% transperent, and place this view above the "walls above the slab" on the sheet
