HELP view scale issue

Hello, I am very new to revit so this may be a very stupid question. What I had to do essentially was use revit to trace an image so I may be able to create a dxf file to cut on a cnc machine. My issue is when I loaded the image into revit the file was 88' in length, I traced it and got everything done, then realized the size of the image. I tried adjusting the scale and when I shrunk it down to the 7" length that it has to be, almost all my lines in the corners are no longer joined. Says element is to small on screen, so I zoomed in as it said and still wouldn't allow me to connect the lines. When scaling to re-size it i had to "delete elements" and this created gaps between all of my lines. What do I do to scale my image down from the 88' when tracing it, down to the 7" length that I require.

Thanks

To resize your image and what you have already traced, make a window selection of all items in the workspace and select  the scale button and follow the process in the video a
