Try using Copy from clip board in plan view by going in Modify/Clipboard/Copy & then going back to where you need the same & selecting Paste/Aling to current view.

Also while you are copying in elevation are you selecting disjoin on left top corner under options after selecting.

What kind of objects, categories, are included in this group?

This kind of issue could happen to reinforcement or truss elements.

What Revit version do you use?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

It is a combination of Column, Beam, Slab & Stair objects.

All are Concrete Categories.

No Reinforcement objects are present here.

I am using Revit 2014 version.

Hi Suresh,

Hope you are fine.

your answer is not a complete solution as well against my query actually. What you have shown it is clear to me and also i know that. But when you will copy a "Group Object" exactly to the back to back level that problem and error is till now persists. But in alternate level it does not a problem at all.

Try with the figure which i have posted at the very beginning. Copy that group object back to back level. then you will find out the exact problem. Hope my uploaded revit file is with you. Try it on that file.

If you find out the solution about this problem then please inform me.

I deleted your inplace columns

InplaceColumsDeleted.png

After that it copied nicely

I recommend you to not use the inplace objects as they are very risky many a times I have seen them getting placed somewere in the file were they were not actually located.
