Is it possible to add grid name along axis. As i can see it is only possible to add grid name to end 1 and 2. I would like to add more options and have Grid name along the axis as well.

Possible?

I would also be curious to know if this is possible, however I believe it might not be.

You can change gridlines as per the below link, but doesn't seem to mention about being able to add letters/numbers to the grid line sequence.

You would somehow need to make a new Line Pattern Property, as it stands its only 'Dashes, Dots and Spaces'

Not as part of the grid family definition itself. You could create a repeating detail family that uses a detail component that provides a number that can be repeated along it's length. That would be view specific. A 3D approach, so it would be visible in any view or exported to Navisworks for example, could use a line-based family and array of 3D text to show the number along it's length.
