DRAWING BEAM FROM POFILE BUT THE LENGTH PUT OVERSIZE WHICH I DIDN'T

Dear Masters,

I made revit pofile with 52.250m beam.

When I create in the template, it draw over 70m automatically.

Do you have any tips in this situation???????

A structural framing family will stretch to the length of where it is placed in the project (first click and second click)

It looks like your framing family is built so that it will stay at 52250 in length. The family reference planes are not logically placed since the right side of the member is placed next to the left side etc and that is why the family is behaving unpredictably when placed in the project environment. I recommend that you get familiar with creating structural framing families within the structural framing family template. You could use the OOTB revit framing Wx steel framing family as a guide on how structural framing should behave. Then you could attempt to create your family again. Thank you.

Could you ask one more question?

I edit the original profile to fit the centerline.

And then, I import to the templete using that profile, but the section for the anchorage which made with void is not appear.

Do you know why?
