Hi everyone,

How can I dimension and determine distances A, B, C with line in revit.

Hi @hai_nn

Here's an example of the same shape you are showing and how the segments are dimensioned

ovidiu_paunescu_4-1704957475146.png

The segments are measured tangent to the adjacent segment if the angle is 90 deg. or less, and measured to the middle of the bend, to the references that the bar shows when hovering over that bend, for over 90 deg.

Sketching over those references and they look like this:

The values of A, B, C in properties and next to the bar are rounded according to the reinforcement rounding settings, per project or overridden per bar.

The hook length for the 180 deg hook is measured by unfolding the hook. See https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-5E2D4E9E-45D9-43E7-8E57-7BEFF4C9D9DA

The dimension in that case shows the tangent hook length
