Delete Rows

The delete rows button is not working my schedule toolbar. I use to be able to select multiple rows and delete unused views, but when I push the button now, it does nothing.

Any suggestions?

Do you get any errors when you select it or is it just not selectable? In your screen capture it looks "available". If you pick the Delete button in the bar below the ribbon does it do anything?

It is selectable, but it doesn't do anything when I click it. If I right click and click the delete row button it also does nothing. It used to work, but sometime within the last few weeks it has stopped. It seems to be universal on any project that it is not working. I believe I have the latest hot fix installed.

if you select only one row, vs multiple rows, does it work? trying to narrow down if it is something with the command or something with the item your removing.

Same result. One row vs multiple rows, Button and right click button are selectable but nothing happens when they are clicked.

Hmmmm haven't personally seen that happen before. I have not been able to duplicate it on my end.

Would you be able to post your file, or a duplicate of the file with any project info scrubbed out?

I also have the same issue with Revit 2021.  I can select rows, but delete row function does not work.  I have also reinstalled and maintained updates.  Also, had our BIM manager look into it and he couldn't figure it out either.

this might be a stretch.... but are any of the elements in the schedule coming from a Link? if you look at the schedules Fields tab, is the Include Elements in Links checked?

The issue was similar in deception and said to have been resolved in an update but there are a couple of workarounds which may help?

Investigation of this incident determined that it occurs when all of these criteria are met:
  • In the Sheet List Properties, in the Sorting/Group tab, "Itemize every instance" is not selected.
  • In the Sheet List Properties, in the Appearance tab, Show Title is not selected.
  • In the Sheet List Properties, in the Appearance tab, Show Headers is not selected.
Workaround:Workaround Option 1: In the Sheet List Properties, in the Appearance tab, select Show Title, Show Headers, or both.

Workaround Option 2: In the Sheet List Properties, in the Sorting/Group tab, select "Itemize every instance." Then, to use a sheet list to delete sheets, select sheets in the list one at a time (or drag to select more than one adjacent sheet).
