colour filter not displayed correctly

Hi,

I would have liked to ask a question regarding 2 stuctural framing inside each other.
I have a steel beam that will sit in a concrete beam.
Now I have created a colour filter via my viewtemplate (background color) for the steel beams.

You can see in the attachment that one of the 2 steel beams is colouring.
The beams are the same length, and are cut in the same place.

What I also keep finding weird is that it keeps showing the hatch of the concrete beam.

I am unsure from the description on how you have created this beam? Is it a Family or Group or Assembly or just drawn in the model?

In this model i simply just modelled them as single elements, I created a quick filter

Then when Viewing in a Section it works as intended

I would check what the Filter is referring and it relates to both I beam elements such as Type Name or materials etc.

As regards the concrete showing this will be the because the I beams are not cutting out the geometry of the concrete element but simple hosted within it.  You could create a masking region to remedy it?

sorry for the late response

The family consists of 2 extrusions. The difference between medium and fine level was the answer.
