Cannot view structural view of an imported model from Robot Structural Analysis

Hello,

I successfully exported my model from RSA to Revit, but I can only view analytical model on Revit. (I can see analysis results, section and material specs, nodes etc...)

Is this expected behaviour? Because I need the steel sections in 3D for creating GA sheets with Revit. There is no option in Robot for creating steel drawings.

I want to add that I modelled the project at Robot then exported to Revit.

I am adding the screenshot of the model and selected member properties. There is no option for editing the type of the member, but section type can be visible. I also want to take renders from Revit for visualisation purposes for the client. Obviously, I cannot do with those analytical lines.

Thanks

The analytical elements and the physical counterparts are independent elements. Both elements would need to be created and then relationships between them can be created and maintained. The quickest way to get the physical elements you desire is to use the Analytical Automation tools from the Analyze ribbon tab. This tool will create the physical elements and create the relationship between the elements to allow for future modifications. This tool can be run again after changes or additions have been made. Here is the help document on the capability: https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-8BFAADF7-E2AF-4072-B29E-539E9FFECE23

I have the same problem, but on the Analytical Automation tools I only have the "physical to analytical" option, and not "analytical to physical", How can I get that? Using Revit 2023

You need to update Revit 2023 to latest version or use Revit 2024 if applicable.
