Can't create new sheet

I do structural drawings and what I do is I just save the architecture file as a new one and draw structural over their drawing. I deleted all of their Arch sheets and usually from there I just create my own new ones starting with S1.1. Like I said I deleted all of their sheets and now when I try to create my S sheets it says the number is already in use. Is there somewhere other than under the sheets tab that I need to delete them?

Can you please make sure that you show all sheets in the Project Browser (right-click on the Sheets node in the Project Browser, click "Browser Organization...", click the Sheets tab, make sure "all" is checked)?

some time Revit shows these error. do these to solve your problem: create a sheet list from:

View--->Schedule-->Sheet list

Now you will see there are sheet name even though there are no sheets, delete these rows and; you will be good to go.

Give kudos if that solves. thank you.

I dont see any actual sheet names "S1.1" or anything like that. All I see is "Sheet name" and "sheet number". I'm not sure what you mean to delete

on one of them I tried that, on the other he talks about a place holder list. Are you familiar with what that is?

wen you try to create a new sheet, there is a dialogue box for choosing title block, at bottom, it has place holder list check them. if there are sheets of same names.

but if you have created a sheet list there are no sheet accept headers that mean there are no sheets, placeholder or not. unless any filter is applied. can you share an Isolated project for that to take a look if possible?
